UNPOPULAR OPINION — GETTING UP AT 5 AM SUCKS

I’m not going to deny it.

I also fell into the “productivity unicorn” trap.

“Get up at 5 AM and get sh*t done before everyone else wakes up.”

“Go to the gym first thing in the morning and crush your day.”

If all the successful people are preaching it, there must be a truth to it right?

So I was determined to make it a habit.

And for a few months it went ok.

Until that one Monday.

Where it didn’t.

And I lost all motivation to continue for a single day.

The thing was, for a long time I FORCED to make it a habit.

And not follow my natural rhythm of flow and energy.

And if you do things on willpower, sooner or later you will burn out.

It’s kind of the equivalent of trying to be something that you are not.

Because here’s the thing…

We’re all wired differently.

I often have energy spurts at 10 PM and in 2 hours I can get more done than 4 hours in the early morning…

I enjoy evenings.

I dislike going to bed at 9 PM.

Even better, my most productive gym time is around 8PM.

I feel twice as strong versus going in early morning.

I can lift more weights, break personal records and overall feel better.

Long story short, RESEARCH it for yourself.

It might not be what you want to hear…

Because it takes time…

And it’s custom for everybody.

There ain’t no easy roads to victory.

But you will finally find YOURS.
